The poem:
We took a serious peek
at St. Michaels on the Chesapeake.
And we smiled!
We lined up and we smiled,
by dogged militia on parade,
sailors leaving on a raid,
and beside a dippy child,
we smiled!
Well, most of us!
Well-arrayed, some of us played
dances lively, not staid!
By means appropriate
we traveled around.
And danced entranced
to the fiddle's sound!
Feature Friday will begin next week, and I hope it'll be a good one!
